# Home History

A time capsule for a house: past and present residents leave photos and stories, and whoever lives there next opens the same home file.

Sample content

Sample content: the home, the stories and the address are invented.

## What it is

Every house has a history that disappears when the keys change hands. Home History gives a home one shareable file — a timeline of the people who lived there.

## What I built

- Create or open a home by address; each gets a clean shareable slug.
- A timeline of entries with a story, a year range and photos (multipart uploads).
- Next.js App Router with a small JSON API and SQLite persistence (better-sqlite3).
- Clear MVP scope: no address verification yet — residency checks, moderation and soft privacy are on the roadmap.
